Oil in Water |
| Just messing around one day, with my Canon Rebel XT DSLR. Oil being poured into a cup of water. Music by Bonobo // Recurring edit 4/24 6:30am: WOW! I'm glad everyone is liking this so much! I really didn't even put any thought into the timing or editing of this. i just went through the sequences i had, in order, and tossed some music over it. The frames are pretty much un-edited. I think I changed the white balance, and added some sharpness, and that was all. I wish I had an actual video camera, that could capture some of the things I see, when photographing my subjects. IMO the time-lapse looks neat, but does not do it justice. A lot of people are asking how I did this. It's pretty simple. I just put the camera on its' lowest jpeg setting, placed the camera into continuous mode, and locked the shutter down with my wired remote. The oil is being dumped into a tall cylindrical glass, with about a cup of water in it. The whole thing is lit from behind by a diffused clamp light. |
